Christine works as a tutor of watercolour for West Cheshire College.  Since September 2001 she has taught classes in Hoole, Malpas, Bickerton, Upton, Handbridge and Caldy Valley.  She has also led one day workshops for West Cheshire College in Handbridge and Ellesmere Port.  Her students have shown their work at the College in Eaton Road, The Guildhall Watergate Street, Chester Library and The Gateway Theatre.

Prior to working for the College she taught Art up to and including ‘A’ level at various schools in Liverpool, Lancashire and Germany.  Whilst working at Gateacre Community Comprehensive School she also taught Art to adults at night school. 

Her qualifications include a Teachers Certificate, a B.Ed (Honours) in Art and Education and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Education.  She is at present a member of the Institute for Learning.She has exhibited her work in many group and Open exhibitions including the Grosvenor Museum Open Art Exhibition Chester, The Wirral Spring Art and Photography Exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Castle Park Open Exhibition Frodsham, the Black Sheep Open Exhibition Hawarden, the Gateway Theatre and the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art.

Solo exhibitions include Castle Park Arts Centre, Chester Library, Bishop Heber Library Malpas, The Beluga Bar Liverpool, The Theatre Laarbruch Germany, the Farmhouse Gallery Iscoyd Whitchurch in 2007 and 2008 and Erddig National Trust property Wrexham in 2009 and 2010.  She has also produced watercolours as designs for Christmas cards for the B.I.R.D charity based in Eccleston

She has worked in many different media including oils, collage, pen and ink, pen and wash and gouache but at the moment she is concentrating mainly on watercolour sometimes including textural effects using wax resist and coloured inks.
